How it started.
It all started late one Tuesday evening, back in 2019. A small group of friends working in and around fintech in the UAE found themselves around a table, well past midnight, tracing the same conversation: where could the industry actually go, and who was going to build it? The region didn't need another conference. It needed a room.
From that one night, things grew organically. Conversations turned into intros, intros into events, events into a community. Today FTT is a federation of a WhatsApp community 1,600+ members deep, with over 10,000 followers on LinkedIn across the industry, and a calendar of Soirées, Business Breakfasts and bespoke events across UAE and KSA.
We've worked with many of the biggest names in the region: founders, banks, payment companies, regulators, investors and conferences. We're still building. The room just keeps getting bigger.
